Driving all over the Los Angeles area to bring health care to reclusive felines cemented her passion for working with cats. Dr. Starr is a member of AAFP, AVMA, and CVMA.
In her free time, Dr. Starr enjoys singing and performing in both classical and musical theatre venues. (Her favorite role is Mrs. Anna in Rogers and Hammerstein’s The King and I.) Other hobbies include photography, sewing (especially quilting), and hiking. She shares her home with her husband, Ron, and their feline family.

She particularly enjoys geriatric feline medicine and hopes to become board certified in feline practice in the future.
Family is a huge part of Dr. Kiser’s life. She shares her home with two mischievous cats, two great kids, and her wonderful husband. Outside of work, Dr. Kiser spends most of her time playing with her kids and enjoying the outdoors.
