Cat Veterinary Services for Cats

Veterinary assistants are highly trained and motivated to assist fellow staff members.  Without their help our clinic would be unable to achieve its goal of providing a lifetime of good health for your cat.

Their duties include:

  • Assisting the technicians and veterinarians with medical procedures
  • Making sure that all cats are properly fed and kept clean
  • Observing cats to be sure they are healthy during their clinic stays
  • Grooming
  • Helping to answer phones and to schedule appointments
  • Administering medications and basic treatments

Our assistants provide the love and care that is so vital for the emotional and physical well being our each and every cat.

Esmeralda, our head groomer, has been with The Cat Care Clinic since 2006. She shares her home with her three German Shepherds: Wolfy, Mama, and Luna. During her spare time she enjoys hiking, running, working out at the gym, dancing, and spending time with friends and family. She is currently attending Cal State Fullerton and pursuing a B.A. in Criminal Justice.
Cynthia is currently attending Cal Poly Pomona. She came to us originally as an R.O.P. student. She spends her free time dancing, exercising, and sketching. She shares her home with her cats Oliver, Tina and Bojangles, and her two very sweet dogs Toto and Toulouse.
Bre is attending college and majoring in Communications. She would like to use her degree to help advertise homeless animals and to make people aware that help is always needed for animals. She has three cats: Winx, Chips and Amigo. Bre works as an animal assistant and as a client service representative and has been a valuable part of our team since 2009.
Lindsay is studying biology and has always had a passion for working with animals and medicine. She spends her spare time volunteering for the German Shepherd Rescue of OC and for cat rescue groups where she fosters and bottle-feeds homeless kittens. She hopes to earn her degree and continue to work with animals in a medical setting. Lindsay lives with three cats: Penelope, Banana, and Ralphy and two dogs: Skippy and Daisy.
Minerva graduated in 2013 from Orange Coast College and received an A.A. in Film Production. She shares her home with her three German Shepherds: Wolfy, Mamma and Luna. In her spare time she enjoys reading, writing and painting.
Lucy joined our staff at the end of 2014. She is currently in school to become an RVT. Lucy loves working with cats and learning about them and their behavior. She spends her free time taking ballet and jazz classes, watching sci-fi movies and shows, and playing vintage video games with her family. Lucy and her husband JP share their home with their two kids, Lucian and Shylah, and their rescue kitty, Salem.
Brittany is studying Animal Health Technology at Mt. San Antonio College and plans to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. She has always had a love and passion for animals and is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the cats at our clinic.
