Cat Veterinary Services for Cats

Veterinary assistants are highly trained and motivated to assist fellow staff members.  Without their help our clinic would be unable to achieve its goal of providing a lifetime of good health for your cat.

Their duties include:

  • Assisting the technicians and veterinarians with medical procedures
  • Making sure that all cats are properly fed and kept clean
  • Observing cats to be sure they are healthy during their clinic stays
  • Grooming
  • Helping to answer phones and to schedule appointments
  • Administering medications and basic treatments

Our assistants provide the love and care that is so vital for the emotional and physical well being our each and every cat.

Esmeralda, our head groomer, has been with The Cat Care Clinic since 2006. She shares her home with her three German Shepherds: Wolfy, Mama, and Luna. During her spare time she enjoys hiking, running, working out at the gym, dancing, and spending time with friends and family. She is currently attending Cal State Fullerton and pursuing a B.A. in Criminal Justice.
Cece graduated from UC Irvine in 2015 with a degree in Biological Sciences. She plans to gain experience in the veterinary field before applying to vet school. She has owned a variety of pets including cats, dogs, reptiles, amphibians, and birds. Cece enjoys hiking, cooking, and the beach. Currently she lives with kitties Grizzly and Gracie.
Maggie is studying veterinary technology at Mt San Antonio College with the goal of becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician. She joined our team in 2015. Maggie always knew that she wanted to work with animals. She likes music, reading, and spending time with friends, family, and dog Gaga.
Serena joined the clinic team in September 2015 to assist with cleaning and feeding of our patients and boarders, and also to keep our clinic in shape. She attends Santiago Canyon College, has always loved animals and wanted to work in the field. She shares her home with kitties Simba and Percy and dog Sheena.
Jessica was born and raised in Orange County. She attended the American College of Healthcare in Riverside and graduated as a Certified Veterinary Assistant in July 2016. Animals have always been a passion in her life and she’s always wanted to work with them. She believes that animals have helped her and done so much for her, that working in this field is like paying them back for all they’ve done. Her dream is to one day be a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). She has two beautiful orange rescue kitties named Casper Lugosi and Bowie Karloff who are loves of her life.
Stephanie is in the RVT program at Mt. Sac. She interned at The Cat Care Clinic, fell in love with all of the beautiful cats, and applied for a job after her internship hours were over. She has a miniature schnauzer named Lemon, whom she loves very much. She plans to adopt a cat when her living situation permits it. Her favorite parts about working at the CCC are getting to know the different personalities of the cats and learning more and more about them each and every day.
